Software? Software? Software????

Waa!! Ive recently been looking around on the net and come across some really cool software like photoshop etc but its soo expensive!!! I dont suppose anyone knows where I can get any good software like photoshop/coral draw for free? I really want to colour in my pics on the computer...XD AIYO!!!! It would be great if anyone knew any good platforms to use!
